Pinot Noir, “Boy Toy” polish, and standard “red” poodles,
Valentine’s cards drawn in sweet children’s doodles,
My MOST perfect red boots and big rubies in rings,
These are a few of my “FAVO-RED” things!

In honor of Valentine’s Day, I wrote these lines to the music of the famous <em>Sound of Music</em> song, “These are a Few of My Favourite Things”….. with the one exception that MY lyrics describe a few of my “favo-RED” things!

Since I know the damage that my voice is capable of inflicting upon the eardrums of others, I will refrain from personally singing them…. HOWEVER, if one of my wonderful readers would like to do the honors on my behalf, I would “RED-ily” share the recording in one of my upcoming blog posts!

In addition, my staff and I have had so much fun flitting around the shop today making up new rhymes (Clearly, all rappers at heart!), that we thought it would be GREAT fun to host a little contest for all of my blog readers! Here is how it works. Between now and the end of the week, simply jot down a few original lines sharing some of YOUR “favo-RED” things, then e-mail them to me with your name and address (you may even sing them if you are feeling particularly saucy!).
